Classes
and courses of study contribute to our
shared journey toward higher consciousness by encouraging participants
to utilize the wisdom of higher consciousness in the development of
classes, retreats, and courses of study. Each area of focus is
supported by classes, conversational salons, lectures, seminars,
forums, courses of study and retreats. Educational
activities are conducted by individuals with extensive knowledge and
training in their subject.
Local, National, and Global Service Projects
Service projects are
created by the members of each group and are supported by the entire
membership. When creating service projects, individuals align their purpose and goals, and
collaborate with others in order to create projects with the potential
of making a significant difference. This process advances the
exploration of group creativity and the dynamics of group work.
Projects that result from these endeavors are of valuable service to
the local, national, and world community. Additionally, these areas of focus are a laboratory in which participants hone
their ability to act in conscious cooperation with others, thus
supporting a growing sense of community. When beneficial to the
mission of the Institute For Global Transformation®, we also collaborate and partner with other
individuals and organizations.
These
areas of focus are designed to provide hands-on
opportunities for participants to
contribute to humanity's
shared journey toward a more enlightened
global community, while also
encouraging and supporting the development of personal interests,
talents, and transformational experiences.
Individuals and groups are encouraged to reach beyond themselves,
to create and implement service projects with the potential for
significant local, national, and global impact. Activities within each
of these Branches of Service grow as individuals express a desire
to participate in the group's activities and service projects.
Activities
All of our classes, courses of study, and community service projects embrace a spiritually inspired purpose. Spirituality is the unifying essence of being that gives shape and meaning to life. "It is characterized by unfolding mystery, interconnectedness and inner strength. Spirituality permeates all of life and is manifested in one’s being, knowing, and doing. It is expressed and experienced uniquely by each individual through and within connections to God/Life Force/the Absolute, the environment, nature, other people, and the self.
